This 12-day Victoria Falls and Botswana safari combines two nights at Victoria Falls with a fly-in safari through Savute in Chobe National Park, Moremi Game Reserve in the Okavango Delta and the Khwai Concession. You start with two nights at Waterfalls Lodge in Victoria Falls town, Zimbabwe. A sunset cruise on the Zambezi Explorer takes you among the islands of the upper Zambezi, and a guided tour of the falls is followed by lunch at the Lookout Cafe on the edge of the Batoka Gorge. From Victoria Falls, you drive to Kasane in Botswana and fly to Savute Safari Lodge for three nights, known for its lion prides, bull elephants and the San rock art of the Gubatsa Hills. Three nights at Camp Moremi on Xakanaxa Lagoon add boat trips through the Delta’s channels and heronries. You finish with three nights at Sediba Sa Rona on the Khwai River, where night drives, walking safaris and seasonal mokoro trips are possible. Each safari stay is three nights, so you spend less time packing and more time in the field. You fly from Khwai to Maun on Day 12 for your onward connection.
