From there, it’s seamless transfer whisks you away to the nearby Four Points Nairobi Airport for your overnight rest.

After breakfast at Ol Pejeta Bush Camp, you are transferred back to Nairobi and on to Wilson Airport in time for your scheduled flight into the Maasai Mara, swapping a long overland drive for a quick, efficient connection that keeps the day centred on safari rather than road time. On landing in the Mara, your guide meets you at the airstrip and you begin the drive toward Emboo Camp, passing through riverine woodland and open plains where wildlife sightings often start before you even reach camp.

Emboo is set on a quiet, forested bend of the Talek River and is particularly well placed for swift access to prime game-viewing areas, especially during the migration months when herds can move through the broader Talek and Mara river systems. Once you have settled into your suite and taken in the sounds of the river, the pace naturally eases into the Mara rhythm, with time for lunch and a short rest before the afternoon picks up again.

Today is designed for flexibility, shaped around what is moving in the ecosystem and what you most want to prioritise. If you are travelling between July and October, this is an excellent time to position for the migration as it pushes through the Mara, and your guide will focus on the most current sightings and crossings activity. 

Between drives, you can choose to lean further into Emboo’s “travel with purpose” philosophy, whether that is spending time in the gardens with the chefs, planting trees, or simply appreciating the comfort of a camp that pairs genuine luxury with practical sustainability rather than just messaging.

After a final, unhurried breakfast in camp, you are transferred to the airstrip for your late-morning flight back to Nairobi. On arrival at Wilson Airport, you are met by a representative and driven by private vehicle to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in time to check in for your international flight home.

If your onward flight departs later in the day, a day room can be arranged at additional cost, giving you a comfortable place to rest, freshen up, and enjoy lunch before continuing your journey.
