On Day 2, we dedicate the day to exploring the spectacular Panorama Route. This breathtaking drive includes stops at the Blyde River Canyon, one of the largest canyons in the world, where the stunning vistas are truly awe-inspiring. We visit Bourke’s Luck Potholes, a fascinating geological formation carved by centuries of river activity, and God’s Window, which offers sweeping views over the Lowveld. The park is also home to numerous San rock art sites, offering a glimpse into the rich heritage of the region’s earliest inhabitants.

Day 6 begins with an invigorating morning walk to view the Kaoxa Bushman paintings. These ancient artworks, etched onto the rock surfaces, depict the daily lives and spiritual beliefs of the San people. In the late afternoon, we embark on a sunset drive that promises spectacular views over the Baobab-laden landscape. Upon arrival in Nata, you will have time to settle into your accommodations and relax after the day’s travel. The late afternoon presents an opportunity to unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings of our lodge. For those eager to explore, we may set out to visit the Makgadikgadi Pans, one of the largest salt flats in the world, either this afternoon or the following morning.

Visiting the Makgadikgadi Pans is an extraordinary experience. These vast, otherworldly landscapes are remnants of an ancient super-lake that once covered much of the area. Stretching as far as the eye can see, the pans are a stark and beautiful expanse of white salt that glistens under the sun. Depending on the season, you may witness an array of wildlife, including migratory birds such as flamingos, and perhaps even herds of zebra and wildebeest that traverse the pans.

In the late afternoon, as the heat of the day subsides, the Makgadikgadi Pans become a breathtaking canvas for a spectacular sunset. We continue our journey north to Kasane, where our lodge awaits us on the picturesque banks of the Chobe River. The Chobe River’s tranquil waters and lush floodplains create a perfect habitat for a diverse array of species, making it a premier destination for nature enthusiasts.

Upon arrival at our lodge, you’ll have time to settle in and enjoy the serene surroundings. We arrive midday at Victoria Falls, undoubtedly one of the greatest and most spectacular sights in Africa. Known locally as “Mosi-oa-Tunya,” or “The Smoke That Thunders,” the falls are a breathtaking natural wonder that captivates all who visit (entrance own account).

Upon arrival, you’ll have the rest of the day free to immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of this iconic destination. Wander through the charming local markets, where you can find unique crafts, souvenirs, and artworks made by local artisans.
