Day 1: Sabi Sands
Upon arrival at Skukuza Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to Notten's Bush Camp in the heart of the Sabi Sand. Sabi Sand Game Reserve is the original Kruger Concession and still considered the most coveted of all the area's safari experiences. It was formed in 1950 and comprises of many privately owned game lodges, covering an area of 65 000 hectare of savannah. This is one of South Africa’s most treasured natural sanctuaries. In recent years, the fences separating Sabi Sand from the Kruger National Park were dropped, thus forming a pristine wilderness area of approximately four million hectares. Notten's Bush Camp is an exclusive and private safari lodge with a rich family history and dtill run by the Notten family. Each private suite is elegantly styled, spacious and cooled by ceiling fans. A magical atmosphere is created with the purposeful absence of electric lighting; the ambient candlelight and lanterns capturing an enchanting spirit of romance. Day 2: Sabi Sands
You have a full day at Notten's Bush Camp. Your day consists of a morning game drive which will have you out early spotting some great game. The Sabi Sand Game Reserve is a remarkable natural sanctuary known for its exceptionally high concentration of animal and bird life. Safaris are led by experienced rangers in open-top land rovers, offering an adventurous discovery of the region’s prolific wildlife, including Big 5 game viewing. Return to the lodge for scrumptious bunch. After breakfast you have the option of an illuminating walking safari which will introduce you to the ways of the bush. While away the middle of the day by relaxing in your cottage or taking a dip at Notten's pool. A hearty lunch is served before you again embark on afternoon game drive exploring the Timbavati in search of the Big Five. A stop for sundowners at a scenic spot is a great way to take it all in. Returning to Notten's Bush Camp may be by way of a thrilling night game drive where nocturnal animals can be spotted such as Chameleons, Spring Hares, Porcupines and more. A chance to freshen up before dinner served wither on the deck or around the roaring fire of the 'Boma'.
Day 3: Sabi Sands
You have a full day at this wonderful property. While staying you will undertake morning, afternoon and evening game drives with the option of a bush walk led by a qualified ranger offering insight into the African ecosystems.
This morning you have a last chance to spot wildlife on your morning game drive before returning to lodge for breakfast and to pack up. Bid a fond farewell to your guide with a transfer to Skukuza airport for your flight onwards.
