This trip combines two great experiences.  You’ll have the opportunity to trek to the Mountain Gorillas and also explore the exquisite scenery and wildlife of Queen Elizabeth National Park. There’s also an opportunity to visit the native Batwa people of the region.

Day 1 : Entebbe

Accommodation: The Boma Hotel Entebbe
Room basis: Bed and Breakfast

On arrival at Entebbe airport you will be met by our Meet and Greet team and transferred to the lovely Boma Guesthouse for your overnight stay.

Day 2 : Queen Elizabeth National Park

Accommodation: Parkview Safari Lodge
Room basis: Full Board

This morning after breakfast depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Queen Elizabeth National Park is understandably Uganda’s most popular tourist destination. The park’s diverse ecosystems, which include sprawling savanna, shady, humid forests, sparkling lakes and fertile wetlands, make it the ideal habitat for classic big game, ten primate species including chimpanzees and over 600 species of birds. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park....

Day 3 : Queen Elizabeth National Park

Depart with packed lunch and embark on a full day game drive in QENP with a network of tracks that enables you to find a variety of animals including elephants, buffalo, waterbuck, lion, leopard, hyena and giant forest hog in the grassland thickets that cover the North Kazinga area near the Mweya Peninsula....

Day 4 : Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Accommodation: Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge
Room basis: Bed and Breakfast

This morning you depart the northern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, heading towards the Congolese border town of Ishasha. Proceed to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest on te southern side of the park. Check into Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge which has a laid back feeling and set close to the park itself.  Enjoy the afternoon in the lodge’s peaceful setting.

Day 5 : Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Today you set off on your Uganda gorilla tracking adventure in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – home to half of the world’s total mountain gorilla population. Day 6 : Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Today you have the option of a second Gorilla trek, seeing a different family than previously.  Each Gorilla family has its own unique dynamics and you can expect an entirely different experience as you spend another hour in the company of these amazingly Gentle Giants....

Today you will be transferred to the Kisoro Airport for your flight back to Entebbe and to make your connection to your flight home.  Day rooms are available should your flight be later at an added cost.
