This 10-day Botswana fly-in safari takes you through Savute in Chobe National Park, the Moremi Game Reserve in the Okavango Delta and the Khwai Concession, travelling between each camp by light aircraft from Maun. You start with three nights at Savute Safari Lodge, on the Savute Channel in the remote west of Chobe, known for its lion prides, bull elephants and the San rock art of the Gubatsa Hills. You then fly south for three nights at Camp Moremi on the Xakanaxa Lagoon, where the permanent waters of the Delta allow boat trips through the channels and heronries alongside game drives through the floodplains. The last three nights are at Sediba Sa Rona on the Khwai River, looking into Moremi. The Khwai Concession allows night drives, walking safaris and, during the flood season, mokoro trips on the river. Each stay is three nights, so you spend less time packing and more time in the field, and the route combines dry Savute with the waterways of the Delta, showing you two different sides of northern Botswana. You fly back to Maun on Day 10 for your onward connection.
