Upon your arrival at Maun Airport, a representative will greet you and facilitate your transfer via light aircraft to the Savuti area. You will be warmly welcomed upon landing and transported to Ghoha Hills Savuti Lodge, where you will stay for two nights.
Located within Chobe National Park, the Savute region is renowned for its abundant wildlife. Perched on the Ghoha Hills, Ghoha Hills Savuti Lodge offers an excellent vantage point over the Savute Plains. The lodge is designed to harmonize with its natural surroundings, featuring an elevated position that provides stunning 180-degree views. The lodge comprises 11 luxurious tents, each equipped with high-quality beds and linens to ensure maximum comfort. The elegant decor, panoramic views, and meticulous attention to detail combine to enhance your safari experience. The lodge’s thatched main area includes an open dining space, a bar, and several cozy lounges facing an active waterhole. The lodge offers a variety of activities, including morning and afternoon game drives in an open 4×4 safari vehicle along private roads and past numerous waterholes. Day trips to the Savuti Marsh feature visits to the Baobab Theatre, Bushman Rock Paintings, and Pimple Hills, complete with a picnic lunch. Additional activities include birdwatching, stargazing, and sundowner drives.
During your stay, you might observe herds of elephants, buffalo, impala, kudu, giraffe, zebra, roan antelope, and both spotted and brown hyena. The Ghoha pride of lions and leopards are also frequent sights. The area is also home to a diverse array of bird species and is dotted with majestic Baobab trees, adding to the region’s unique charm.
