As one of the oldest lodges in the Delta, it has a unique charm and atmosphere. The lodge has a total of nine chalets all set beneath forest canopy. Each chalet is privately situated on its own teak deck. Bedrooms are quiet havens with open access to a seating area on a private deck. A safe is provided in each room and at reception for guests’ valuables. As part of the Desert & Delta Safaris portfolio, Nxamaseri prides itself on creating an experience that is personal and intimate. The lodge offers water-based activities, including boating and mokoro trips among the network of channels that make up the area. Nxamaseri is one of the top bird-watching and fishing destinations in the country and specialises in both, with expert and enthusiastic guides guaranteed to make your experience a memorable one. Nxamaseri is also close to the magical Tsodilo Hills, a world heritage site and one of Botswana’s greatest treasures. The lodge offers guided day trips to Tsodilo Hills, where one can view some of the 2000 ancient San paintings.

Long winding board walks between the main area and the tents offer guests privacy and the opportunity to stretch their legs and explore the island.It offers a true water experience. Possible activities include boat trips, bush walks, mokoro trips, birding, fishing, sunset cruises, lagoon sundowners / dinners. We also offer full day boating safaris into the heart of the Delta and private fly camping experiences. Helicopter flights over the Delta can be arranged ad hoc and can be combined with a trip to Tsodilo Hills or a village tour. Bush walks on our private island are great for birding. We have a spa available with a variety of treatments available that can be booked in advance or in camp.

The camp is situated on the central side of the popular south eastern part of Hwange National Park, Verney’s Camp is a private concession of 10 000 hectares (24 710 acres).

The use of wood, canvas and reeds are primary to the architecture of this stunning camp.Kiri Camp offers a combination of both game drives and water activities. Based on a private concession, these activities will take you to some of the more remote areas in the delta, previously inaccessible. A motorboat ride during peak flood times promises to enthrall you and captivate you, with the chance of seeing iconic wildlife from the river. Glide on quiet mokoro’s through the water lilies and view wildlife from below as you sail along at water level height. The wildlife in the Kiri area is diverse and plentiful, renown for its lion and buffalo interactions and rare wild dog numbers.

This hidden treasure, in the heart of the permanent Okavango Delta, assures its guests of an unparalleled year-round water wilderness experience.Camp Okavango’s main area comprises of a network of interconnected walkways linking up two lounge areas, a dining room, library, self-service bar and curio shop.  Sweeping ramps lead to the lower level deck with two open-air fire pits and comfortable seating areas to relax and take in the natural surroundings.
